Jitte Dingenouts (chairman)
Hey everybody! My name is Jitte Dingenouts, I’m 19 years old and I’m the chairwoman of this year’s Eerstejaarscommissie. That means I’m in my second year of econometrics. As a chairwoman I’ve got the task to make sure that the Eerstejaarscommissie will organize the most awesome activities for all the members of FAECTOR! This will not be a problem, because we have an amazing group of enthusiastic first year students in this committee. Together with Mechteld from the 50th board and these committee members we will make an awesome year for all of you! So don’t hesitate and come to all of our activities! See you then!
Jan Jakob Heijenga
Hi! I am Jan Jakob Heijenga and I am member of the Eerstejaarscommissie. Last week, we had the first activity organized by us. A pool tournament, that was great fun! Next to FAECTOR I am member of Rotterdam’s sailing club, the RSZV, I also like that very much. Besides, I like to hang around with friends and to watch movies. I hope everyone is coming to the activities organized by the EC, it’s nice and a lot of fun!
Frederique Ram
Hi there! My name is Frederique Ram and I am very proud to be part of this year's 'Eerstejaarscommissie'. Obviously this makes me a first year econometrics student. I have to admit the first block is really hard, but at the same time I love all the nerdy things we learn, so I guess I´ll be fine. Our committee has only been up and running for two weeks but I already fully enjoy it. Besides, I have already gotten the chance to experience the advantages of being an active FAECTOR member. Altogether I can´t wait to discover what this FAECTOR year will bring me. Hope to see you all at our activities!
Steven Rozema
Hi there, my name is Steven Rozema and I’m currently in my first year of econometrics. I grew up in Rotterdam and enjoy living in this vast and marvellous city. In my spare time I love attending and organizing activities with friends, therefore I was exhilarated to hear about the faculty association FAECTOR. After attending one of the committee interest drinks I decided to apply for the EC. Fortunately I and eight other people got the honour of organizing a lot of events for the FAECTOR members. I hope to see all of you at one of our events!
Dylan van Oeveren
Hey everybody! My name is Dylan van Oeveren. I’m 19 years old, and I’m in my first year of the bachelor econometrics and operational research. Also I will be organizing all the activities for the members of FAECTOR with my colleagues from the Eestejaarscommissie. If you like going out until dawn or just hang with friends and have some drinks as much as I do, the only thing left to do for you is to join ALL the activities and you’ll have an amazing time this year at FAECTOR! I’m pretty sure (and I’ll guarantee) that all our events will be awesome, and I can’t wait to see everybody with a huge hangover the next morning, because we had again another crazy night the day before.
Marieke Vester
Hi everyone! My name is Marieke Vester and I’m a member of the 2015-2016 Eerstejaarscommissie. I’m 18 years old, from the Hague and very surprising in my first year of Econometrics. I’ve played field hockey for most of my life and I’m very bad at losing anything close to a game. I wanted to become a member of the EC, because I found it important to contribute to the faculty association. I would like to organize fun activities for all members, because no one can or should study 24/7! I hope to be a part of an amazing year at FAECTOR and I’ll see you all at our activities!
Rosa ten Kate
Hi everyone! My name is Rosa ten Kate and I am 19 years old. I am a member of the Eerstejaarscommissie 2015-2016. I'm from Maassluis, but I currently live in Rotterdam. I decided to apply for the EC, because I wanted to do something besides studying. I also thought it would be fun to organize all sorts of events and activities. Besides being active in the EC, I like horse riding, shopping and going out with friends. I hope to contribute to an amazing year at FAECTOR and I hope to see you all at the activities organized by the EC!
Nick Koster
Hi everyone! My name is Nick Koster and I am part of the 2015-2016 Eerstejaarscommissie. I am an 18-year-old first-year student who decided he wanted to join a committee of FAECTOR. After PINKWIN and some FAECTOR drinks, I reckoned it would be awesome to be an active member of FAECTOR, and especially the Eerstejaarscommissie seemed to be a great start of my time here in Rotterdam. Besides studying and the Eerstejaarscommissie, I like to play all kinds of sports and hang out with friends. I hope to see all of you during the upcoming activities we will be organizing throughout the year!
