Welcommittees! - Business Trip Committee

In 'Welcommitees!' we present all new committees that started in September. We asked everyone to tell something about themselves and to answer three questions about their committee members. This episode we introduce to you one of our newer committees, the Business Trip Committee. This year they are responsible for the first ever Business Trip of FAECTOR! Maurits

Hola! Mi nombre es Maurits and I’m currently in my 4th year of the bachelor Econometrics & Operational Research. I grew up in a place called Vtown but I moved to Rotterdam about 2 and a half years ago. This is the first time that I’m part of a committee at FAECTOR, but I’m already enjoying it a lot!

As you all know, a student’s lifestyle isn’t always healthy. That’s why I often go Crossfitting or Nordic Walking to stay in shape.

Besides organising an awesome Business Trip, I’m looking forward to attending all kinds of activities that FAECTOR has to offer. A great passion of mine is going to cosplay and LARPing events in my spare time. Ever since my roommate Arjan Verheijen introduced me to the scene, I try to go to every event! I also enjoy going to music festivals and folding bakken with my friends. As you all know, a student’s lifestyle isn’t always healthy. That’s why I often go Crossfitting or Nordic Walking to stay in shape. This is the end of my introduction about myself. Any questions?

To organise a Business Trip, which is full of Business and full of Trip.

Marije

I fell off the stairs in the C building after my IBA BSA-ceremony, because I was looking at my phone. There was a lot of blood and the EFR board had to come save me…

My name is Marije, and I am very happy to be chosen as an active member in the Business Trip Committee. My aim is to help students develop themselves, and the Business trip is a perfect way to accomplish this. We will make this trip an unforgettable experience!

Even though I once spelled FAECTOR wrong, awkward, I'm still very committed.

Hey everyone, I'm Jasper and this year I joined the Business Trip Committee. Like everyone I would enjoy watching Netflix if I ever got the free time to do so. It might come as a suprise but with my committee I want to organise the most amazing intense extraordinary phenominal majestic Business Trip FAECTOR ever had. Even though I once spelled FAECTOR wrong, awkward, I'm still very committed.

Hi guys, my name is Thomas and I am a third-year Bachelor student in the Dutch Econometrics programme. Last year, I became an active member at FAECTOR by joining the IntAct committee, which was so much fun that I decided to join a new committee this year!

As a member of the first ever Business Trip committee, I hope to organise an amazing trip to a (top secret) European City and set the bar as high as possible for the Business Trip in the future. Apart from that, I am really looking forward to all the Active Member events of this year and I am curious to find out what the new IntAct committee has in store for us!

My name is Wouter and I am the Treasurer of FAECTOR. I am 21 years old and originally from the beautiful south of the Netherlands: Heerlen. I have the honour to supervise the first Business Trip Committee!

A few years ago, we went to the movie ‘The dictator’. We were 15 minutes late, so we rushed into the theatre. After 45 minutes, we find out that we were in the wrong movie. Finally, we found the right movie and were able to see the last 15 minutes...
