Even the life of a university student can often become a routine. Early lectures, long hours and huge piles of homework, can keep down even the most free of spirits. However, once upon a time, a collaboration between the best study associations at our university, helped our fellow FAECTORians out, with a magical escape into a fairy tale - the Interfaculty Gala.
The legendary event was held at Eethiek, on the 19th of January and around 22.00, many fellow members pulled up to the venue. The night was unforgettable from the very start and for that, one can thank the outside temperature. Only a few lucky princes and princesses came by an engine-powered carriage, while others had to settle on man-powered transportation. Before the entrance to the venue, one could come across the most handsome attire, as the street was filled with track suits, sweaters and sneakers, as everyone desperately tried to stay warm.
However, once we got escorted inside by our very own president, a magical transformation happened. Suddenly, enveryone was dressed to the nines, looking like a king or a queen and feeling like a total ten. Many started off the night by commemorating the event with a photo and getting a drink from the open bar. While the choices of liquor were limited, the friendly bar staff was willing to mix them with anything (Apfelkorn with cola really wasn’t a good idea). Joined by our friends from ACE>, Cedo Nulli, FBMG, In Duplo, JFR and MAEUR, the members of FAECTOR filled the night with dancing and laughter.
Unfortunately, with a twist ending, the night came to an end, once the clock stroke 03.00. The music stopped, the bar closed, and under the influence of alcohol, the princes turned back into frogs. Channeling their inner Cinderella, many ladies took off their high heels. All in all, it was once again an unforgettable night and all FAECTORians lived happily ever after. The End.
