The 18th of May this year was one to remember (or forget). This otherwise ordinary Thursday was the day the candidates of the 52nd board of FAECTOR were announced. The announcement drink, with an open bar, was held in Sorbonne. At 9 pm sharp, everyone got quiet so our current president Robert Arends could announce the new candidates who came down the shiny stairs in their green suits to present themselves to all Active Members.
The members of the 52nd Board of FAECTOR are:

Secretary - Maurits de Bruijn
Treasurer - Tobias Hoogteijling
Career Officer - Anke Clerx
Commercial Officer - Romain Heuts
Educational Officer - Jitte Dingenouts
Marketing Officer - Sian Tee
All the people present – ranging from active members to former board members and of course, our current board – made their way to congratulate them and make pictures together with all predecessors.
After a lot of hugs and shaking hands, and a few drinks, most of us found our way to the Interfaculty Party in Nora. Here, with the music of our beloved DJ Jerome, all members of the associations of Interfaculty Rotterdam danced their night away and the recently announced candidates for the 52nd Board got even more congratulations. Rumour has it that there was more to celebrate, since some members of the Marketing Committee have been seen with bottles of champagne, but for which purpose still remains a mystery.
