As everyone may know already, FAECTOR has officially welcomed a new board since the last ALV. In order to learn more about each board member, the Estimator Committee has asked them to write a bit about themselves and to answer some polls to characterise the 53rd board.
Frederique Ram
Hi everyone! My name is Frederique and I am 21 years old. After finishing my bachelor, I thought it was time to dedicate the upcoming year to something else than studying. A board year at FAECTOR was of course the nicest thing I could think of. As the president of this association I am basically there to make sure that everything goes well, association-wise as well as with my fellow board members. I also liaise with other study associations, in Rotterdam but also the rest of the Netherlands. So far, it has truly been a rollercoaster from the moment we got assigned (sorry for the cliché) and it’s crazy how much you learn and how many opportunities you get during this year. If I manage to have some free time, I love to catch up with my friends while walking around the Kralingse Plas or try out new hipster cafes.
Fun fact: I used to be allergic to water
Favourite dish: Anything with truffle (and parmesan cheese)
Pim van der Voet
My name is Pim and I will be the Career Officer of FAECTOR this year. This means that I am responsible for a part of the acquisition and for the organisation of all career events that FAECTOR offers. I am 20 years old and I come from the lovely town called Best. In my free time I like to play piano or hang out with friends.
Fun fact: I have almost been arrested in Peru once

Carolijn de Kok
Hi guys! My name is Carolijn and I am the Commercial Officer of the 53th board of FAECTOR. This makes me responsible for the acquisition and keeping in contact with our partners. Furthermore, I manage econometrie.com, the vacancy website for econometricians.
I love playing games, going to the beach (even when it’s not sunny), eating Italian food and spending time with my family and friends. There is always someone around at home which I like very much, since I have a brother, a sister, four step brothers, a step sister and a dog.
Fun fact: There is a pencil point in my left arm for 10 years now

Rosa ten Kate
Hi guys! My name is Rosa and I’m 22 years old. After having spent my last three years as an active member, I’m glad I can say I am the Treasurer of the 53rd Board! Basically, this means that I’m in charge of the money of the association. Besides being a board member, I like to travel, cook and go out for dinner and drinks with my friends. I spend most of my time in Rotterdam, but on the weekends you can usually find me in the always exciting city of Maassluis.

Michael Darmoutomo
Hey y'all, my name is Michael and I'm 21 years old. This year I will fulfill the most important and fun function of the board, namely: Marketing & IT Officer! This means I can be on Facebook and Instagram all day without people getting angry I'm on social media all the time . Furthermore, I am responsible for our beautiful website and I make sure FAECTOR is up-to-date with the latest technology (mining Bitcoin all day). In my free time I like to hang out with friends and play drums. If you'd like to jam with me, feel free to hit me up!
Fun fact: I am/was in a boyband and I am absolutely horrible at singing

Marie-Sophie Graftiaux
My name is Marie-Sophie and I will be the Educational Officer of FAECTOR this year. Before I tell you more about my function I would like to shortly introduce myself. I am 21 years old and I grew up in Strasbourg in France. In the winter I really like to ski and in the summer I like to travel, but what I love most is spending time with the people I love wherever that might be.
This year I will be leading a lot of educational projects but the biggest will be the FRP and the Excellence Programme. But what I am most excited about is working with my three committees this year!

Rebecca van Essen
Hi everyone! My name is Rebecca and I am the Secretary of FAECTOR for the current academic year. I come from the beautiful town of Reeuwijk which is close to Gouda and hence I am a real cheese lover. In my spare time (as far as that exists) I like to play field hockey and spend time with friends. My job in the board of FAECTOR consists of a variety of tasks ranging from being the supervisor of four committees to sending the monthly FAECTOR email and answering all emails sent to info@faector.nl.
